Cracked Rim Repair
A cracked alloy wheel leaks air and, left alone, can fail. We TIG-weld cracks on the barrel and inner lip, then straighten and refinish so the wheel is safe and holds pressure again. Not every crack is repairable — some locations aren't safe to weld — and we'll always tell you straight.

Cracked Rim Repair — FAQs
Is a welded rim safe to drive on?+
When the crack is in a weldable location and repaired correctly, yes. Cracks on the outer face or certain stress points are not safe to weld — we'll tell you if that's the case.
My wheel is losing air slowly — is it cracked?+
Possibly. Slow leaks come from cracks, bends, or bead corrosion. We'll diagnose the exact cause.
How much does cracked rim repair cost?+
It depends on the crack. Send us photos or bring the wheel in for a free, transparent estimate.
